School Nurse 2025/2026 School Year

$25 - $30 / Hour The 1:1 School LPN/LVN identifies and treats health disorders among students in the school setting. The 1:1 School LPN/LVN provides instruction for the student's general wellbeing and disease prevention. The School LPN/LVN monitors the student's physical conditions in the school setting and refers the student to appropriate resources as needed. The work of the School LPN/LVN is performed in compliance with his/her LPN/LVN scope of practice and according to state education codes. Minimum Requirements: + Current LPN/LVN license for the state in which the nurse practices + Current PPD or Chest X-Ray + One year prior professional nursing experience in school setting preferred + Pediatric experience preferred + Current BLS card + Considerable knowledge of medical disorders and treatment + Considerable knowledge of child growth and development + Some knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies + Some knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health services + Understands the school organization and the community served + Must be at least 18 years of age Please note that this pay range represents a good faith estimate of the compensation that will be offered for this position based on the circumstances.
