Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Duration: 6+ months
Job Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management
- Develop and manage project plans including timeline, scope, and budget.
- Track milestones and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Coordinate with outside engineering services when applicable.
Team Leadership and Coordination
- Hire, direct, and manage construction crews and subcontractors.
- Facilitate collaboration across multiple teams and vendors.
- Provide clear direction and support to all team members.
Quality Control and Safety
- Ensure all work meets required codes, standards, and specifications.
- Monitor site safety and enforce all safety protocols.
- Anticipate and resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently.
Client and Stakeholder Management
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders.
- Address questions, concerns, and change requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, engineers, and clients.
Risk Management
- Identify and assess potential project risks.
- Create and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

Cost & Financial Performance:

- Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5 10 years of construction project management experience.
- Must have experience in industrial manufacturing environments; chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must hold an active Kentucky Construction Management License.
- Proven ability to lead diverse construction teams and deliver results under pressure.
- Additional Notes
- Candidates must successfully complete all Michelin-required safety and confidentiality onboarding before assignment start.
- Interviews may be required to verify experience, expertise, and alignment with project needs.
