Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Louisville, Kentucky

Duration: 6+ months

Job Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management

  • Develop and manage project plans including timeline, scope, and budget.
  • Track milestones and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate with outside engineering services when applicable.

Team Leadership and Coordination

  • Hire, direct, and manage construction crews and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate collaboration across multiple teams and vendors.
  • Provide clear direction and support to all team members.

Quality Control and Safety

  • Ensure all work meets required codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Monitor site safety and enforce all safety protocols.
  • Anticipate and resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently.

Client and Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders.
  • Address questions, concerns, and change requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, engineers, and clients.

Risk Management

  • Identify and assess potential project risks.
  • Create and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

Schedule & Progress:

  • Project Schedule Variance
  • Schedule Performance Index (SPI)
  • Tasks Completed On Time
  • Time to Deadline

Cost & Financial Performance:

  • Budget Variance / Cost Performance Index (CPI)
  • Cash Flow & Cost Predictability
  • Change Orders & Cost per Square Foot

Labor & Resource Management:

  • Labor Downtime
  • Deviation of Planned Hours

Quality & Safety:

  • Safety Incidents / Incident Rate
  • Defect Rate
  • Work Quality Assessment
  • Client Satisfaction
  1. Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5 10 years of construction project management experience.
  • Must have experience in industrial manufacturing environments; chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Must hold an active Kentucky Construction Management License.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse construction teams and deliver results under pressure.

  • Candidates must successfully complete all Michelin-required safety and confidentiality onboarding before assignment start.
  • Interviews may be required to verify experience, expertise, and alignment with project needs.
