An Assistant Principal, also known as a Vice Principal, is an integral part of a school's administration team. Prior to becoming an Assistant Principal, individuals may hold positions such as Classroom Teacher, Department Head, or School Counselor. Importantly, they must have a strong educational background, often including a Master's Degree in Education Administration or a related field.
